This year’s program highlights the integration of AI in education, featuring Thomas Strasser sharing his expertise. Attendees will participate in a variety of workshops designed to refine teaching methods, foster professional connections, and explore innovative strategies. The event will also include a book fair showcasing the latest teaching and learning materials and will end with our much-loved raffle. This gathering will offer a unique opportunity to embrace advancements in teaching practices, embrace technology, and inspire learners in the classroom.
Our 14th Biennial English Teachers’ Day will offer an exciting programme for English teachers of Sekundarstufe 1 and 2. The event will begin with an engaging keynote by Thomas Strasser on AI in education (“I’m going DeepL underground? There’s too much panic in this AI town.”) and will include a variety of workshops and talks on topics such as AI Images for English Language Learning, Podcasts, Vlogs, Reading Strategies, Graphic Novels, Mixed-Ability Classes, and Storytelling.
Participants will have the chance to explore the latest teaching materials at our book fair, engage with publishers, and connect with colleagues. The day concludes with our traditional raffle and a networking session.
