The University College of Teacher Education Vienna (PHW) is well-connected with other research organizations (universities, research companies, NGOs, etc.), both nationally and internationally. Our collaborative networks stretch across the European Union and beyond to associate countries like Serbia, Macedonia, Turkey, Ukraine, and many others. Additionally, PHW is well-established and connected with the Austrian school sector, particularly in and around the urban region of Vienna. Furthermore, our university college encompasses two schools for pre-service classroom teaching and an adjacent early childhood education institution.
For collaborative projects, we offer a wide range of expertise, not only in specific subject domains or research areas, but also with regard to theoretical research, instructional and learning designs, pedagogic underpinning of innovation and evaluation. Therefore, PHW is highly interested in bringing these skills into all kinds of research and development projects. At present, our main source of research funding is coming from the EU’s Erasmus+ KA2 and KA3 program and interregional cooperation. However, we also participated in H2020 applications and in other national and trans-national funding schemes.
We are committed to enhancing our collaboration in research and development with international partners. We would kindly ask you to contact us if you wish to involve the PHW in any potential research funding projects or other types of collaboration, either on a national or international level.
